Thornbank House Hotel Stranraer, Stranraer

My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful. The rooms were lovely; the bed was extremely comfy, and the bathroom was full of little luxuries, including pool towels, dressing gowns, and coffee and tea amenities. The hotel also had a massive swimming pool and a spa that we often had to ourselves. The space was like a flat with amazing views from the windows, a fantastic bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, and fresh towels and bedding daily. The value for money here is exceptional, and I would without a doubt return for another stay. Thank you!

My stay at the hotel was simply marvellous! The room offered a great view over the sea and was equipped with everything we needed, including plush robes and slippers, perfect for enjoying the large and beautifully decorated pool. However, the room itself was a bit small and cramped, which was the only downside.

My stay at Thornbank was exceptional! The King Room was fantastic, equipped with bathrobes, pool towels, a mini fridge, and all the luxurious amenities I'd expect from a high-end hotel. The room itself was lovely, featuring a comfortable bed, a great bathroom with a good shower, and complimentary toiletries. Fiona, our host, provided impeccable service and made us feel right at home. The location overlooking the Loch was a special treat, offering a peaceful retreat close to the town center for convenience without the noise. The dining experience was superb, setting the perfect tone for each day with a variety of delicious options. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations and offered a wonderful retreat in a beautiful part of Scotland.
